Over the first two weeks, participants will explore microeconomic concepts such as trade-offs, opportunity costs, supply and demand, taxes and subsidies, public goods, market failure, and the role of competition and monopolies. The course emphasizes the relevance of these concepts for effective policy design and implementation.
In the following weeks, participants will dive into macroeconomics, focusing on topics like economic output, inflation, foreign investment, exchange rates, and government involvement in managing the economy. Key macroeconomic concepts such as national debt, productivity, innovation, and economic crises will also be discussed.
